We sincerely appreciate the trust and loyalty you have shown all of us here at Superior Waste Services for so many years. Our locally owned and operated Company has dedicated itself to maintaining the Superior name as a hallmark for quality, respect, and cost-effective services. Our Families and team work very hard every day to meet your expectations, even when it requires effort beyond the norm.
Unfortunately, in the last year we have been facing challenges in several areas that have led to the need for this letter.
Our disposal site has increased the fees to dispose of your material for the Second time this year, and as I am sure you are aware, the costs of the diesel fuel we use to run our equipment has continued to rise at an extreme pace, one which we simply can no longer absorb.
Additionally, we are honored to employ exceptional people, reward them appropriately, and to have made an investment in our fleet. We now deploy “split body trucks” that allow us to collect both trash and recycling in one trip helping keep costs down and greatly reducing emissions, all while maintaining the separation of the material you give us, – so your recycling efforts do not go unrealized!
Raising prices is one of the most difficult decisions a business owner ever must make, and we really held off as long as we could. For years we have worked so hard to gain your trust and build our customer base, which is why this is a difficult request…
However, maintaining a strong workforce to take care of your needs and having the equipment available to fulfil your expectations for reliable, environmentally sound service, continues to be significantly more expensive.
Therefore, effective June 1st, 2026, you will notice an increase of $.46 cents per pick up ($2.00 monthly) in your trash/recycling service fees to cover these rising expenses. Please understand, 100% of this request is simply to offset the increases in our costs of operations and to help us maintain a viable Family business that will be here to serve you for years to come.
