Price Increase

Dear Valued Customer,

 

We sincerely appreciate the trust you have placed in all of us here at Superior Waste Services.   Our locally owned and operated Company has dedicated itself to establishing the Superior name as a hallmark for quality, respect, and cost-effective services.  Our Family and team work very hard every day to maintain a reputation for meeting the service expectations of our customers, even when it requires effort beyond the norm.

 

Unfortunately, like so many businesses today, we at Superior are now facing labor challenges, a lack of available parts, equipment and supplies.  Trucks now cost us almost 30% more than just a few years ago and we have seen delays in our equipment orders exceeding 15 months.  We have all felt the fuel prices at the pumps continuing to rise again.

 

In addition, our Disposal and Recycling fees have increased approximately 40% in the last year, an uncontrollable expense but essential to handling your material safely and in an environmentally sound manner.

 

Most importantly though, we find ourselves needing to significantly increase the wages of the men and women that you see in our trucks or who help you when you call us if we are to maintain a workforce that delivers the service you deserve.

 

Raising prices is one of the most difficult decisions a business owner ever has to make.  For years we have worked so hard to gain your trust and build our customer base.  We appreciate this now more than ever.  However, maintaining a strong workforce to take care of your needs and having the resources available to deliver on your expectations, has simply become much more difficult and significantly more expensive.  

 

Therefore, effective June 1, 2023 you will notice a necessary increase in your trash and recycling service fees to cover these rising expenses.  Please understand, this request is to offset the increases in our costs of operations and to help us maintain a viable organization that will be here for you for years to come.

 

We all thank you very much for your loyalty and patronage.  We here at Superior offer our very best to you and your family as we all continue to navigate our way through these ever-changing times.
